San Antonio Cycling Alliance (SACA)

Velo Valero led SACA ride from Bullis County Park on Saturday April 29, 2017.

Start times:
44 mile route: Wheels down at 8:00 am
27 mile route: Wheels down at 9:00 am

Look for the Beeline Bikes mobile bike shop van at Bullis on Saturday and get a chance to check out the operation, talk to the guys and provide any needed service to your bike. Beeline Bikes is a new venture to the San Antonio area and is the mobile bike shop affiliate to the new brick and mortar shop, Crossroad Bikes (NE corner of Huebner and NW Military – across NW Military from Walgreens).

Be sure and bring your $5 for the 50/50 Bike MS fundraising raffle!!! And join us at Specht’s Store afterward for lunch – they will be doing a giveback to benefit Bike MS!

Looks like there will be a big cycling crowd at Bullis that Saturday (3 big groups that we know of) – get there early – and get there often – to paraphrase the great voting platitude.

More details, including route maps, at cycling.powweb.com/captain_blog/event/bullis-county-park-10/?instance_id=291

These will be NO DROP RIDES. SAG supported.

Please be sure to call the Velo Valero rider hotline, 210.345.BIKE (2453), for any ride changes or cancellations due to weather or otherwise. We will also post cancellation on SACA Facebook page.

See you there!

We will be riding out of Bullis Park this Saturday 4-22. Wheels down at 8am. There will be 3 ride options, 42, 33 and 19 miles. All rides follow the same route at the beginning and the end.

There is a need for volunteers to run SAG so please consider helping in this capacity.

Arrive early to prep for your rides. Maps will be available while they last. See you soon!
